Degree in Food Science. Engineering Degree in Manufacturing or Production is preferred
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
Reports directly to the Managing Director
Accountable for every stage in the production process and for Product Quality
Reviews processing schedules and production orders to make decisions concerning inventory requirements, staffing requirements and work procedures
Maintain safety and environmental protection practices and compliances
Assures timely decisions are taken on the use of suitable equipment, maintenance, repairs and modifications required in the process
Give leadership to subordinates to follow systems and processes set by the management and provide recommendations as well as necessary advice on continuous improvements
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Degree in Food Science. Engineering Degree in Manufacturing or Production is preferred
Minimum 10 years of proven work experience in the Manufacturing industry with at least 3 years' experience in a Managerial position
Thorough understanding of quality management systems coupled with productivity measures
Excellent Leadership skills, Communication skills and outstanding interpersonal skills
Age below 45 years
Experience in managing and leading a large workforce
