DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
Creation of a holistic Sales & Marketing Plan for the properties, successful implementation and follow-up.
Creation of an effective Branding and Awareness Programs that will increase awareness and the positive perception of the Hotels, its activities, culinary services, and personnel.
Knowledge of the travel & tourism industry, emerging market trends and economic factors that may impact overall operations.
Assist the Managing Director in preparation of bespoke marketing, advertising, sales plans, programs and annual budgets; Ensuring that operations are managed within the pre-approved plans and budgets.
Develop pricing guidance (rates), group sales deployment strategies through a review of competitor data, demand analysis and trend monitoring.
Ability to effectively listen, communicate and exude a diplomatic persona when dealing with internal and external customers, and staff in all situations.
Ability to be pro-active in problem solving and perform essential job functions when required.
Prepare, implement and compile data for the strategic sales plan, monthly reports, annual goals, sales and marketing budget, forecasts and other reports as directed/required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Manage all social media and review platforms of the hotels (Facebook / Instagram / Twitter / Tripadvisor)
Serve as the main contact points for OTA's and maintain sound business relationships with TO's.
May participate in the Manager on Duty Program when required.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree and CIM/SLIM or any acceptable marketing qualification will be preferable.
Requires advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the sales/marketing/hospitality profession.
Minimum of five years of sales and marketing experience in the hotel industry.
Advanced communication skills in written and spoken English is a must.
