POSITION SUMMARY
A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field from a recognized university or an equivalent professional qualification, preferably with a postgraduate qualification.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
To implement the digital strategies and plans of the government in consultation with the Board of Directors.
To provide strategic and business leadership to the organization whilst ensuring its alignment with the digital strategy of the country.
Lead the organization's operational performance to ensure it produces the desired results in line with annual and strategic goals.
Ensure the use of an effective financial performance measurement system, proper internal audits, financial management and administrative systems to ensure efficiencies.
Lead and guide the team by clearly articulating the vision and strategic imperatives and motivate and inspire teams to adopt organization vision and values and goals.
Coordinate the development of detailed operating plans and financial budgets for the entire organization.
Ensure strong governance standards are maintained and all programme activities operate according to the highest legal, ethical and regulatory standards.
Address any emerging issues that have a significant impact on the future direction of the organization.
Build healthy relationships with the organization's stakeholders including the relevant government organizations, business partners, customers and other stakeholders.
Act as a primary spokesperson for the organization to promote collaborative corporation to achieve strategic objectives.
Establish platforms to build high performance teams whilst facilitating in providing the provision of the necessary institutional environment for leadership development and personal growth.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field from a recognized university or an equivalent professional qualification, preferably with a postgraduate qualification.
At least 15 years of professional experience from which 10 years at a leadership role and proven track record of achieving significant business growth whilst maintaining and building sustainable relationships.
Exposure to working in a public sector organization would be an added advantage.
Demonstrate strategic ability based on a deep understanding of the business environment and global trends.
Demonstrate sound business judgment by taking decisions based on relevant information and gut feel, after considering all relevant risks.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to embrace and drive change to achieve business performance. Stakeholder focus and understanding and anticipating customer needs and balancing the same with business demands.
Proven ability to deliver consistently by building high performance teams and overcoming obstacles and problems. Professional of unquestionable Integrity, Credibility and Character and self-motivation. Strong interpersonal skills such as communication, persuasion etc.
A well organized, systematic, proactive and result - oriented individual with the ability to counsel, train and guide the leadership team.
Financial acumen.
Out of the box thinking and strong decision making.
