DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
Carry out industry research (primary/secondary) not limited to products, operations, market-share and value chain analysis, and competitive benchmarking
Analyze financial and other data and make forecasts to determine buyouts, exits, or expansions
Perform valuation of companies using standard valuation techniques or proxy methods
Prepare presentations, reports, newsletters, and private placement memos
Compile company profiles, perform balance sheet analysis, create investor profiles, provide economic insights, and perform other ad hoc tasks
Think out of the box in scenarios where data is not available or is incomplete for forecasting/valuation. He/she should be familiar with third-party data sources (not limited to Bloomberg, CapiQ, and FactSet) and be able to source data from web searches or alternative methods to complete tasks where data is not available.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
CFA Charterholder or completed CFA Level Ill/MBA or equivalent professional/educational qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a similar role in strategic finance or corporate finance
Proficiency in MS-Office applications
Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English
A highly analytical mind, a high level of attention to the detail in data collection, and strong analytical skills
Excellent working knowledge of financial databases
Ability to work independently and good management/ leadership/team-management skills
Good at multitasking, problem-solving, and organizing
workflows and having the ability to work in high-pressure situations
