DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
Establish, document and implements safety policies and procedures in compliance with local and international guidelines in LAUGFS Corporate building and other subsidiary companies.
Function as the emergency team leader at head office and maintain the emergency response plan updated manner.
Advices management on safety compliances, issues/concerns that may arise and preventive measures to be taken.
Effectively implement incident reporting system at head office and take required corrective actions.
Conduct OHS internal audits in head office and other subsidiary companies as per the internal audit plan and ensure required actions have been taken effectively for the audit findings.
Plan and conduct fire drill at head office building once in a six months basis and support other subsidiary companies to conduct drills and other exercises.
Increase awareness on health and safety within the group of companies and conducting OHS training as per the annual training plan.
Update and maintain all OHS related documents and records related to LAUGFS head office building
Conduct safety committee meeting monthly basis and management review meetings at least once in a six months.
Maintain all OHS and EMS related legal inspection and testing records related to LAUGFS head office building.
Monthly update the achievement OHS and EMS objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate must possess a Diploma in Industrial Safety and Occupational Health, or an equivalent qualification with minimum 02 years hands on experience in a similar position with a high level of computer literacy and excellent communication along with interpersonal skills.
