Our client is looking for a Vice President
Managing Supply Chain of the group by deploying strategies for accurate forecasting, procurement and on time delivery of customer orders, driving adherence to target service levels.
Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements and internal quality/ safety standards.
Inventory Management - tracking/monitoring inventory and storage, identifying and disposal of scrap and redundant inventory.
Develop and manage departmental budgets effectively.
Perform the crucial role in developing and maintaining good relationships with vendors and distributors in meeting customer timelines without a lapse.
Establish performance goals and key performance indicators aligning corporate objectives to drive and manage performance.
Lead and coach the teams in performing excellence at meeting Supply Chain on key performance indicators.
Over 10 year’s relevant experience with minimum 5 year’s senior management experience at strategic level in Supply Chain Management and Logistics Management; preferably, managing a large portfolio of SKUs.
BSc in Mechanical Engineering/ Process Engineering and Masters, preferably in Supply Chain Management.
Must be a strategic thinker with speed in delivery and execution.
Team Management skills to ensure seamless integration of Planning/ Scheduling, Purchasing, Importing & Warehousing.
Possess effective leadership skills with proven track records of building and managing large teams in driving the supply chain arm.
Strong negotiation skills at a senior level with international principals.
Ability to manage multiple priorities within deadline and prioritize effectively, delivering a high quality work.
Experience with ERP or supply chain management software and ability to work comfortably with Microsoft Office software.
