The Installation Manager will have overall responsibility for planning and implementing AV and networking projects which are entrusted to him, taking over from the sales engineer/
Duties and Responsibilities
• Scheduling of work in coordination with the client, architect and other contractors
• Timely sourcing of materials, contract labour and other required resources
• Guiding the installation team and ensuring that quality standards are maintained
• Documenting materials usage and tracking costs
Job specifications:
• Applicants need to be methodical and well organized. with good communication skills in both Sinhala and English.
• Ability to understand electrical schematics and architectural drawings is essential.
• Computer literacy and a valid driving license is also required.
• Should have at least 1 year of experience in a similar capacity and a recognized qualification in at least one of the following disciplines:
o Mechatronics
o Electronics
o Electrical Engineering
• The following would be considered added qualifications:
o Formal training/qualifications in project management
o Practical experience in installing, operating or maintaining modern AV equipment
o Practical experience in ELV cabling and terminating techniques
o Ability to use AutoCAD and/or MS Visio
